So why use Prototerra's OVEN platform?
I recently gave a talk at Brandon Hall's eLearning excellence awards. It was a moment of realization for me when after hearing me talk for 45 minutes, some one asked "But how is this different from Second Life". I like to use metaphors to describe situations, so let me use one here. I was teaching people the how to best cook a fish, when most people had never even seen a fish, much less eaten one. Now I realize that a big part of my job is education. How are platforms different. What are the choices, and what are the trade offs.
